Kinomural is an innovative art event that transforms the walls of Wrocław’s tenement buildings into giant projection screens, seamlessly integrating new media art with the urban landscape.

The event combines video art, animation, light and sound with the city’s architecture, creating an immersive, multi-sensory visual experience through works by artists from around the world.

Kinomural 2025 will take place under the theme: ODYSSEY: BETA VERSION – a journey through realms of unexpected narratives and audiovisual experiments. Viewers freely choose their own route, pace and rhythm as they move between projections.

Wrocław, Nadodrze District | 19–20 September 2025 | Free entry

THE STRUCTURE OF TIME is the theme of this year's OPEN CALL

Kinomural takes new media art from the Internet and galleries to the walls of Wrocław's urban buildings. On two September evenings, each of these houses will be transformed into a projection screen with an average surface area of around 300 square metres. Visitors to the festival will be able to watch projections and installations on the walls, exploring successive streets and alleyways like the exhibition rooms of an art gallery, where the artists' works are of gigantic proportions. One wall is dedicated to an exhibition of artists' projects selected through open call. The organisers are waiting for submissions until 31 May.
